Removing A/C lines in a crx?
I'm sure its harder than I'm making it out to be, but when I put my motor back in my crx I did't bother with the A/C compressor. Now I wanna remove the lines also, anyone ever do this or have knowledge of doing it? I just wanna remove the ones in the engine bay that go to the firewall, Do I just use 2 big wrenchs or what? Also if anyone knows the size of the wrenchs and how to get the lines out, that would be appricated thanks.

Yes, assuming your system is already discharged. If you want to properly remove them, disconnect them at the fire wall, then at the front end (there are also some bolts/brackets supporting the lines else where).
If you want to remove the lines as they comeout of from the firewall, that is easy as well. You can by a vent bypass from either the dealer or the junkyard from a Civic/CRX model that didn't have AC.

yep, unhook them at the firewall, I used 2 cresent wrenches I believe, also you may as well take out the condensor if you are removing the lines, I think it took me about an hour to completely remove the a/c including the lines, wiring, a/c fan etc.
Does the system have to be discharged? I doubt it has any freion or whatever in it, but if it does and I disconnect the lines will it get me? lol, if I do have to have discharge it how do I go about doing it, or do you have to have the A/C machine to do it?
