Default NSX , S2000 owners in SE Wisconsin/Chicago Area

I am looking for an S2000 or NSX owner to rent their car out to me to take to my prom on May 19-20. I'm not sure where to post this, since it's not really a wtb/wtt thread. I am a responsible driver, I have driven stick for 3 years, never been in an accident that was my fault, and I am willing to write up a contract placing full liability on me in the unlikely event that anything would go wrong. I will also include a free oil change with the rental. If interested, please PM me, or reply to the thread. We can negotiate pricing/mileage at that time.

not again. please, you last thread like this was locked.

i honestly doubt anyone will loan you their car, let alone a s2k or NSX. plus it is not legal (insurance reasons). and if someone were to sue you, you prob would not have the money to pay, considering your only 18 going to prom. I treat my s2000 better than some people treat their ferrari's, im sure 99% of all other s2k owners are the same or treat it even better.

Here's some advise, so i don't come off as a total d*ck. - -- think logically if you are serious about it. Why don't you find an exotic car rental place to rent out a car, if not borrow your parents car. When i was going to prom i rented out a Navigator for $90 with insurance coverage. this is years ago. i would rather crash a rental car then someone's s2k. Prom isn't all that great anyways. why do you want a 2 seater. rent something with a backseat!

please mod's delete this post.

a lincoln navigator is not exotic. i'm not even going to list the reasons why renting an exotic car from a rental place is not feasible, because i've already done so in other threads. my request is not the least bit unreasonable, it is only the close-mindedness and failure to truely think logically of most people that is responsible for the lack of response.

i highy doubt you will find someone with an S2000 much less an NSX to rent for your prom. your best bet to blow money and show your 'the man' by having a extraordinary car is go through enterprise rent a car they have a sister company that rents out lotus elise for such events.

look i never said anything about the navigator being exotic. i basically stated what i did that worked for me. look im trying to tell you that no one in their right mind would let some teenager going to prom borrow their car. it's not close-minded it's the truth. you are saying to think logically? maybe it is you who should. People are giving you advise(logical ones), but you seem not to be taking any of it. you still have this idea in your head that someone will let you borrow one. trust me all this trouble is not worth it for prom.
