Vibrations on 1992 Accord
Does anyone have the solutions or advise on why my 1992 Accord LX vibrates
while the engine warms up in morning when idling and when I fully stop while in gear drive at the stop light? I can feel the vibrations thru my steering wheel. I have a new distributor, cap and rotor, ignition wires and spark plugs. and I asked my mechanic to checked the ignition timing, it was set properly. Any ideas?...........thanks! Is this possibly my fuel filter need to be change?

I doubt there's anything wrong. Old motors just get harsh, especially automatics which keep some load on the motor when you're sitting still in DRIVE. About all you can do is turn up the idle as an extra few hundred RPMs can smooth out the idle. A full fuel and intake system flush might make your motor run smoother.
It's typical. My car does it. Although I have heard that you should check the motor mounts. One of them typically gets weak/breaks...and that makes the motor vibrate, which in turn makes the steering wheel vibrate. I noticed it does get smoother with a higher idle...but I don't mind it really...
my accord did the same sort of idle vibration and we did the same thing with the plugs...wires...distributor cap and rotor... but it we finally hooked it up to a diagnostic computerand it said it need a valve job and headjob... so we did it and it runs beautifully now.
I totally agreed with you. I diagnosed my car and I found NO Engine Code error. What are the full fuel and intake system flush? Can I do it myself, since my budget is tight? Any procedures I should know? One thing I noticed when I changed my spark plugs, there were oil on my old plugs when I changed them. Head gasket I think is leaking......will this cause my engine to vibrates? Any procedures I should follow to change my head gasket?.......Thanks......

There are many valves, which valves did you replaced and how much? I heard something about EGR Valve where carbon develops inside valve and you can take out and clean out the carbon developed inside the valve with carb. cleaner. I'm hesitating to take mine out, but it's hard to take out the two bolts holding the EGR valve because I don't the right equipments to take them out. I need to angle my wrench and it's hard to turn it when it's at angle. Any advise on how to take the two bolts out?
use a ratchet with either a long extension and a short socket, or use an extension with a deepwell socket. one of them, you are definitely going to need the short socket because some stuff gets in the way. maybe both though. try both ways
