Default lenso with mt slicks

my lenso rims just came in (thanks camp 1320) and i already had some m/t slicks to mount but now i cant find any place here in houston that carries a intertube for the slicks.. they are 24.5x8x13 and they say tubetype on it.. so my question is do i really need to have a tube with them mounted... i heard yes from some and no from others...thanks in advance

I never ran tubes and didnt have a problem. When searching to see if I should run tubes or not, I couldnt really find any reasons why people run tubes other then its adds "some" high speed (no one was ever clear on how much) stability and less psi fluctuation. I always check my tires before the run anyways, so its not that big of a deal to me. If you let them sit for w few weeks, they lose air. Come race day fill em up to desired psi, check before the run and you should be fine.

let the air back out and push the tire off the bead again and squirt it down with soap and water and take the air valve out so it will fill faster to help push the bead on all the way, mine did the same thing. I didnt use a tube either

My MT's leaked REAL bad out the sidewalls. I have to be sure to fill them up between pass's. If you get a long oil down I loose about 5 psi....

if youve got em aired up to 35 lbs bounce them off the ground from chest height
two or three times. Half the time that will seat the bead if not bust and blast as
screaminhatch said. Do not use soap or the tire wont hold to the rim as well.
