I have an 89 crx and was wondering how bad it was to remove the windshield
any suggestions would be appreciated

 

anyone? you guys who do complete builds haven't taken the windshield out

 

taking a windshield out isnt that bad. I have done some cars that are harder than others though. They easyest way is to remove all the trim around the window. Then take a knife or something that has a sharp point and dig into the epoxy. When you have a small hole then you get your wire ready. With you and a friend you have to take the wire back and forth through the opening you made. Kinda using the wire like a saw..back and forth, back and forth. It is time consuming and there might be another method but at my shop thats what I have always done.

 

will try to do that hopefully the damn thing doesn't explode
