my SRS light under my guages is on all the time. i recently took out my interior to do my sound deadening stuf (yes i know add weight, but i compete in sq competitions) anyways. so im guessing i unhooked something. but i re did everything and the light is still on. what woudl be causing this to happen?

I had that for a while too...then I unpluged the bulb.

 

anybody else? i hope it doesnt mean that my air bags wont work

 

try disconnecting the battery and disconnect the srs module under the center dash(near your gas pedal) i've never done it but i think that should work....

 

I got lucky, went to the dealer and they reset the light for free.

 

gap, howd you turn ur bulb off? Take the cluster apart?

 

remove the cluster, then remove the bulb, that's all you gotta do.

 

I think that honda may have to fix any safety restraint problem, you shoud at least ask. I know that if there is a probem with your seatbelt, honda must not fix, but replace all affected parts. I brought my 88 hatch in because the seatbelt would not retract properly , and they replaced the whole assembly. SRS is a serious, I would not just pull the bulb, an airbag used in any other way besides when it is supposed to can be dangerous if not fatal. Try the dealership.

just installed my momo wheel today

i just put electrical tape cut to the shape of the light and taped over that worked now just gotta figure out how to wire up this horn

 

srs light is on, it must deal with da airbag
