Default Alternator Bearing

Anyone ever have a alternator bearing go out? If so what happens? Thanks

Heh, I was wondering the same exact thing yesterday. All of a sudden now, I hear a strange yet loud noise that sounds like a bearing is about to go coming from my alternator.

It would probably be cheaper to replace the alternator. Check classifieds. Especially if you have a B16 in a crx or EF. Those suck, we had to remove the brake master cylinder to get it out. either that or an axle.

Get a helms and read up.
