Hi I have a 06 ex/nav, ever since I got the car, I always felt that the car is too light, and I can really feel the bumps on the road. Is there anything I can do to make my driving experience smoother? And also I'd like to get tint, but don't know how to do it myself, can dealers do that for you? /sign wish I have a garage so I can spent some time with my car at home to figure all these out. Any suggestions would be helpful, thanks.

 

Automotive stores sell tint kits that you can do yourself, but unless you've done it before and youre using high quality products its likely to get messed up and start bubbling over time. You're much better off taking it to a tint/windshield shop that has a specialist doing the installs.

As for the car feeling too light I dunno what to tell ya... cinderblocks in the trunk maybe? Are you used to driving a cadallic or what?

If the bumps are pretty violent take the car in ask the service department to determine of the struts are blow, it happens on newer civics occasionally.

 

Well, I used to drive medium size cars, is that why? the bumps on my way to school and work make the car twitch if I'm turning at a angle. It feels like if the car wasn't touching the ground and when it lands it does a little shaking thing because my front wheels are not straight but turning at a angle. The faster I go, turning, and hitting the bump the worse. When I'm doing 60 on freeways and turning at a angle, the bumps will really shake the car, not up and down but side to side. Maybe it's just me, but I don't know, anyone has similar experience?

Check your tire pressure, they may be improperly inflated. Other then that I'd get the struts checked.
