i have a 98 civic with b16 si engine.

i have the stock headers on there right now.

what type of header should i get?
will the upgrade header just bolt on?

I would just go with the DC Sports its a direct replacement and a novice can install in in 1 hour.

Get AEM Ceramic-coated headers... They deflect heat excellent as well as are made from quality materials.

If you spray them with an anti-heat spray, it will work even better!

DC SPORTS is good also.

ebay = negative preformance, yes it takes a half hour to install, some bolts can be kinda tricky though, just dont strip them. its like the easiest thing on your car to change besides wiper blades and a shift ****...

What is your budget like, or rather, how much are you willing to spend? Headers range quite substantially both in cost and in the power they produce.

Don't buy ebay. Chrome is good for looks.. Stainless steel is the next better, then ceramic-coated.

Unless your going with a race header you probally won't notice that much of a difference(although the exhaust tone will change a little with any header). Like other people have asked what's your budget? Edelbrock and competech are both pretty good for street headers, but if you have the money, I'd really reccomend a race header like, rage, profab, rmf...etc.

i dont want to spend that much.. i meen i just want to replace the
stock headers since i have a b16 motor in it now. im not looking for
any race headers or anything that will make my car go fast. just a simple
upgrade thats all.

just get one from ebay, looks decent and a decent price to boot if all u are looking for is to upgrade.

Otherwise buy a dc and be happy, so we can stop these threads
