well I heard the piping was 5/16th thick and wanted to verify. reason being is I seen one in SS 5/16th thinck and didn't know if it would crack from thte weight of the turbo in daily driving use.

If it was 5/16'" (.3125") it would probably brake off the exhaust studs just from its own weight. They are nowhere near that thick.

The question you ask yourself is who made it.

Are you talking eBay? If it is, chain your turbo and the wg to your block because I'd hate to see you be another to run your turbo over.

sch40 is the best however i have heard of peak boost manifolds cracking.

full race uses forged sch40 ss piping, i havent read of their manifolds cracking tho.

basicly all other piping will crack, esop when you think that if peak boosts sch40 piping cracks and its thicker than all other piping you cant expect much from even thinner piping

The piping itself never cracks ( rarely, you probably will never end up seeing it ) its the welds that crack. People are making turbo manifolds out of 16ga tube, with out it cracking.
