itr brakes vs wilwood
ITR calipers are cast, single piston, use OEM or Type R spec aftermarket pads and 23 mm OEM rotors (one piece) ---> cheap to maintain
Wilwood Dynalites are forged, four piston, use Wilwood HP pads, and one or two piece rotors --> expensive to maintain
The braking on a Type R is TIRE LIMITED usually - so upgrading your brakes mainly saves you unsprung weight, improves fade resistance and improves modulation.
