Default HKS Hi-Power, Buddy Club Spec IV, Skunk2, or Greddy Evo 2 Exhaust?

Lets take a poll and see which one of those I'll buy at the end, for my '05 RSX Type-S(no turboing in the future for the RSX). If you have any of them say something about it.

I've got a shop by my house where I'm going to buy an exhaust, but thanks. I had the Evo2 on my previous car an it sounded great, just that I don't want to really get the same exhaust as I had. How is the SKUNK2 on the Type-S.

I agree w/ that. On the HKS site , http://hksusa.com/products/?id=715&rsku=3697, they have clips. It sounds great. Anyone know anything about the BUDDY CLUB or SKUNK2 ?

What about Thermal? I think thermal has an awesome low and throaty sound.

I have the hks hi power. i know someone with the buddyclub spec 4 and someone with the skunk2 exhaust all on rsxs. I personally don't like the way the spec 4 looks and sounds. The skunk2 is alright i guess. If youre going more than just i/h/e these exhausts wouldnt be that good. You would at least need a 2.5 ID exhaust.

As for the hks I love the way its angle looks and sounds pretty nice. Its a bit loud with my RH though. Are you going to onesix? thats pretty close to arlington heights. Theyre budy club dealers and can get pretty good prices on their parts. I'd recommend the buddy club spec 3

ONE6 was the place I was going to goto. I didn't even know ONE6 was a Buddy Club dealer. Why don't you like the Buddy Club? I plan on putting some kind of race header on this summer too. I really wanted to get an exhaust that's 304 stainless all the way back, but what ever if I find something real nice. My friend has Thermal on his Turbo SI and I don't like how it looks.

I just don't like the looks and the sound of the spec IV. It's too quiet and I don't think you've really seen what it looks like. My buddy was supposed to get the spec III from some shop that was fixing his car cause he got rear ended but they ordered the Spec IV for him. I mean the spec IV has like 2.4 in ID but it doesn't have that deep exhaust tone because of some resonator.

I got my buddy club race header from One6. It sounds really nice. When I asked them to order it for me Mark ordered 2 awhile back. Not sure if he still has it.

Is this your first mod? cause the 05s stock exhaust is pretty good for now and I would recommend an intake or Header first if anything.

buddy club is thinner than most exhausts in the market so if you bottom out it will easily dent. someone correct me if im wrong.

If im not mistaken the piping on the HKS is 2.36" and the tip is 4.5". Quality of the piping is good. Any RH will bolt up to any Type-S exhaust

The only thing is that the HKS HI-Power is just coated with some sort of black finish and it's not 304 stainless, right? Right now my car is stock. Before my DC5 I had a 2004 Sentra Spec-V with Injen CAI/EVO2/DC race header/Tein/B&M Shifter, it was nice, but I converted. (OFF THE SUBJECT, HOW FREAK'N LONG TILL I'M NOT A TRIAL USER?)

any header should fit with the hks but you need to make sure your o2 sensers fit cause there are two on your cat ... most people who buy headers also take out their cat so if you decide to remove your cat then o2 sensers are the main concer besides that the exhaust and header dont really meet because the cat is in the middle of the two ... ill try and find out more bout it later
