Testing waters...93 Civic Si in MD, 264k miles, mildly modded...
Ok, finally forcing myself to do this...been contemplating it forever, I think I'm ready...(?)
1993 Honda Civic Si, 2nd owner, I've had this car since February 1995!!
264k miles, original D16Z6...adult owned, always well-maintained, have phone-book sized folder full of receipts, etc. Unfortunately it DOES have some typical, nasty rust on both rear wheelwells. Engine runs excellent, never misses a beat, still pulls good(well, relatively, anyway), and consistently gets around 35mpg. Uses 1/4-1/2 quart oil between changes. Interior is clean, no rips, stains, etc.
Here's a list of the mods and issues:
-intake(RS Akimoto, installed back in '97!)
-Megan Racing header, Carsound cat, custom exhaust(2-1/4?), univ. muffler
-Eibach pro-kit, Koni reds(non-adj.), camber correction bolts(front)
-Powerslot rotors, stainless brake lines, generic front strut bar, short shifter, I think that's it for the mods...currently sitting on Speedy Race Modes w/ Falken tires- could throw on steelies depending upon buyer's wishes/needs
Issues:
-leaky steering rack, fluid always kept up, never allowed to get low
-sunroof works, but is a real pain, have to struggle with it to open/close most of the time
-car has typical dings, dents, scrapes, etc...has been my daily driver for over 12 years!! That's the only major things that stand out...
As for the price, well...that's why I'm making this post, I want to get a realistic idea of what I can expect. I've seen completely mint examples, i.e. lower miles/no rust going for pretty steep prices, but I really don't know what someone might be willing to pay for mine all things considered. Please give me some guidance here folks...I'd be happy enough to get ~$1,500 for it...is this realistic? I'd prefer a PM with any serious offer...and now...finally some pics...(taken last year after a day spent cleaning, waxing, etc...paint looks faded again now!)

some shots of the rust-

Thanks for looking...
