Default Should I leave it alone?

I did a leak down test on a 97 b18c Type R that I picked up from a jdm Shop.

Cyl 1=20% loss
Cyl 2=12% loss
Cyl 3=12% loss
Cyl 4=15% loss

Now this engine obviously sat for awhile, but is it worth re-ringing it or going with OEM p73-00 oversize pistons?

How much does it cost to re-ring? (roughly how much)

Thanks in advance

Wow...that's quite a loss. Generally, and from my experience the leak down shouldn't be less than 4%.

Your goals are all relative. It all depends on what route you want to go with. Personally, if I was content on boring the block, then that is what I would do. But keep in mind that a whole series of things need to take place for such a thing to happen and work properly.

Keep in mind the engine was cold! 4% must be when warm?
