Default how to drop an ls motor from a DA into a 91 CRX Si

Ok... I'm getting a crx from my friend for cheap and we can get a motor and tranny from a DA. I was wondering if i can use the motor and tranny mounts from the DA onto the rex? if not... what mounts would i need? also both harnesses are obd-0 i believe. any wiring i'll need to do or is everything plug and play? thx for all the help. i had an eg and got into a wreck but don't wanna leave the honda scene. so yea... crx is my only way right now. thx again guys.

Wiring depends on which model CRX and what year DA...if it is an SI CRX and a 90-91 DA then all you need to do is swap over the CRX harness onto the B18a, nothing really needed to be done...thats the simplest if the CRX is a DX then you will need to do a DPFI to MPFI swap, look in the FAQ at the top of the forum...If its and HF CRX then I believe there are a few wires that need to be changd but I'm not 100% sure never messed with one...ALWAYS USE THE STOCK HARNESS FROM THE CAR THE MOTOR IS GOING INTO Now if the DA is a 90-91 it is OBD0 and you are cool, if it is a 92-93 then you will need to either convert the car to OBD1 or the motor to OBD0, I'd say convert the motor to OBD0, pretty easy just need to swap the dizzy, use your stock crx O2 sensor and I think an OBD0 alternator, not sure the plugs look the same to me but its either OBD1 or OBD2 that is different, you can use the D series alt if you want thats what on my B18b in my CRX I can give you info on that if you need...

You will need custom mounts and shift linkage unlike the EG swaps, hasport make them for a lot of $$, ebay has a tone for cheap but be wary of cheap mounts I am using arizona race machine, they are identical to hasports but for less $ if you don't want to spend that much and don't want the poly mounts there are rubber mounts too which make the car vibrate a lot less there is a vendor on HMT that has them for sale...for the linkage you can get custom linkage or you can use the stoke DA linkage and cut and reweld it to make it work...look through the FAQ sectiona ll this info is there

dang... looks like a lot more work than our easy *** eg swaps. anywhere to buy custom linkage? i don't have the original harness from the crx si cause it's a shell. both motors will be obd-0. yea man.. if u could give me as much help as possible that would be great. i'd really like to get into the crx. i don't like other ef's too much... but the crx i'm diggin. question... were there gsr obd-0's? if it's a lot of work.. i might as well drop vtec in there somewhere and get an obd-0 to obd-1 conv. harness.

since you have a si I would look for a stock crx harness since you dont have one, you would need a 90-91 harness. it should just plug and play on the b18, use the b18 pr4 ecu and since it looks like you are on a budget get the ebay $100 mounts and linkage. and you should be set.you can always upgrade later down the road
