Ok so heres my issue... First off, i have a spare 95 si sohc tranny that wont go into gear but I dont wanna just throw it away, i've replaced the shift forks in it an it still doesnt go into gear an to my knowledge an my eye i cant see anything wrong with it... Like I said though, I dont just wanna get rid of it if I could possibly fix it and sell it for money?? Is it worth it to rebuild the tranny than have it as a spare or sell for money??
Second, my friend just bought an 00 ex with JDM B16A in it... He pulled the engine to put his b20/vtec turbo in the car, now has the motor out an just sittin in his garage... The motor wouldnt start when it was in the car thats why he got the car an engine for 1800... He told me he'd sell me the longblock for 350, i kno it sounds like a deal but what kinda money would I be looking into gettin this thing started???? I always wanted a JDM B16A thats only reason i ask if its even worth trying to get started, not knowing at all why its not starting... Seems to have barely any compression an the headgasket looks old an reused.... Any ideas on what i should do..?? Thanks in advance..
