rpm tach sensor for a dx that is gettin a jdm cluster

Default rpm tach sensor for a dx that is gettin a jdm cluster

my friend has a 93 dx coupe and he just bought a jdm sir cluster. dosnt he need a sensor the goes to the tranny in order for his tach to work? if so whats the part number if not what does he need to make the cluster work?

i just did it with an ex tach and it was plug and play. in his car now are 2 big plugs and one small yellow on the other will probably be an addition small white which isnt used cuz its the cruise control


im not posative, but the red line may be wrong on the sir. i think those are 7, but its supposed to be 6500...i think thats how mine is, but the rev limiter will kick in before hand, unless he already has the limiter tweeked or other mods that increase it
