Default 2002 Accord CD Changer

I have a 2002 Accord Ex with a 6 disc changer with the controls on the steering wheel. My problem is when I am in the radio mode if I push the volume control button on the streering wheel the radio changes stations. How can I tell if this is the head unit or the steering wheel push button unit?

Because functions a microprocessor controlled it may be latched up.

If there is a problem only when radio is on, [AM and FM] and not when playing cassette, [if it has one] or CD, in HU or changer, it is a processing problem.

Try this, disconnect batt. neg.(-) terminal wait at least 15min. then reconnect and try the steering wheel volume control again.

Remember if you HU is a coded one, [flashing red led] make sure you have the code before you disconnect the batt. 94
