Looking to add a sunroof.

Obviously I would have to cut the roof, but does anyone know if the templates are the same between all Integra's. As if the mountings are already there, and all you need to do is cut the sheet metal?

Was it a dealer installed option?

save yourself some trouble and just sell it and buy a gsr. not to mention why honda purposely left the moonroof out of the equation with the itr

will just to consider that you just about ruined a perfectly good car, there's a <U></U>reason<U></U> why type-Rs came without sunroofs

Do people actually use sunroofs? I have one in my DD, but it has not been opened so far. Seems like a worthless feature, in my opinion.

I think putting a sunroof in an ITR (or any car) will be more trouble than it's worth. But if you want to do it....why not. Just know that if that car ever goes up for sale, I will not be buying it.

Actually, I wouldn't mind taking out the softtop on an S2000 and welding a hard top in its place. Only because Honda does not have a hard top version of the S. ARE YOU LISTENING, HONDA??!!

 

and doesn't that knock down the resale value alot?

I did this same mod to my car.

 

the main reason honda left out the sun roof in the type r is because of the weight reduction and handling, so ya it would be going against what the car was made for. Just sell it and get a car u can mess up and leave type r's to pple who appreciate them.

 

I appreciate the car more now, I can smoke in it and not have it stink

But who is to say that I don't absolutely LOVE having a sun roof? I appreciate that so much. The car did not come with one, So I added it.

It's like you putting on a header and catback, Nothing wrong with stock, but you wanted to change it... So you did.
