I was wondering what size are HX or CX wheels.

Are there any other OEM rims that are 175/70 R13 expect for stock steelies.

the 6th gen hx rims are 14's. the CX are 13's

I've been wanting to get a pair of CX, HX rims but just purchased new tires for my steelies.

I'm just wondering if I can use my rubber on a set of CX rims then.

The CIVIC VX Hatch OEM Wheels which are made by Enkei will work. I have that on my VX. My tires are 175/70/13. Plus they are light as a mother.....

 

Depends on what year CX my 98 has 14's.

they might not fit. the vx's wouldn't clear the calipers on my 5th gen ex

 

I'm thinking that won't be a problem since mine is a DX.

They say that the VX rim is 165/70-13
How could a 175/70-13 rim fit that?

Is there site reporting wrong sizes, I've seen this size also reported at other site.

Would it work or not.

i think i have 175/something/13 on my VX's, ddamn i hate them. I really want HX's badly so i can slip on some Azenis...!

 

Last year I upgraded from the DX Steelies to the VX rims and the tires fit just fine. you shouldnt have a problem putting 175/70-13 rubber on the VX rims, they are only 10 mm wider than the VX rubber.

 

CX- steels
DX- steels
VX- wheels
HX- wheels

 

Yes the tirerack is right but i wanted a lil bit wider tires on my VX when I bought the car. I have pix of it if you like.......Here they are.........

I just got her and had to put some new tires on it to pass inspection. Like I said b4 I just wanted a lil bit wider tires then the factory. Makes a lot of difference...a lot more quiet and sticks a lil better. I'll be my winter tires soon .....
