Default Helms manual=Engine building?

I'm wating for my Helms manual in the mail and I'm wondering if they cover specific engine specs. I want to learn how to rebuild and build by D-series and figured this would help.

The Helms is definitely the best repair manual available IMO, yes it does have all the necessary specs and torque values you'll need. If you have some decent mechanical knowledge and skills, the manual will be extremely valuable and should help a great deal. If you're a first-timer, you may want to start off with the samller stuff and work your way up. Or you copuld do what I plan to this summer, get a spare D16A6 and tear it down and rebuild it for practice. Good Luck!
