With a welder, plasma cutter, **** load of extra parts and a big bag of weed.

Possible yes, but the end result wouldn't really be considered a CRX.
Custom wiring, mounts, probably a whole new subframe up front and in back to handle the RWD drivetrain, custome driveshaft, the list goes on and on.
So yes, it's possible, but unless you're fricking Chip Foose it prolly ain't gon' happen.

ya absolutely! do it if you want. it will just require more work in the areas that most dont do or dont wanna do.
just ask yourself is it worth it? time, money, effort, etc...cuz anything is possilbe.

Yes it can be done and its been done here locally. But why?
Do yourself a favor and get a b13 SE-R. They already have the sr20 all you need to do is get a manifold and snail from gtir an ECU from jim wolf, some s4 cams and call it a day. youll have a FAST/fun turbo car, For less than the price of a CRX and a stupid b16
I have a shell for sale if your interested

These guys are just trying to discourage you because they want to do the swap before someone else does. There are lot's of peeps doing this swap now the HonSan makes direct mounts for that conversion. You get the best of both worlds, and a factory turbo motor that won't blow up like all these people blowing up Honda motors when they stick a turbo on them...those motors weren't MADE for turbo that's why they blow up!
I would nevermind what the people here say and go to HonSans website where they sell the direct swap, mounts and wiring in one package.
Obviously I am talking about the FWD version of the SR. Can't wait to see some picks man!
EDIT: I thought my sarcasm and outright lies would be obvious, but I guess not. My comments are not to be taken seriously at all.

No ones hating on this guy or trying to keep him from doing it. I just don't think its worth it for the guy to do a sr20 swap if he has to ask H-T if he can do it.
you can't say honda motors weren't made for turbos..no they didn't come factory with them, but they can most definately run 10 lbs very safely...they are definately fit for turbos mechanically, electrically is where people go wrong. The reason honda motors blow up left and right from turbos is because people are effin idiots and think you can slap a turbo kit on their car and everything is grits and gravy. Any motor is gonna blow up if you put a turbo on it and don't tune it. I've been running 10 lbs on my d16a6 for over two years now and i have never had one problem, and thats not just luck, its knowledge of how a motor actually works
I you really want to do this take it to http://sr20forum.com. Great people on the site and very supportive. They will help you out if you are serious about it.
no offense but if your looking for a motor that is already made for boost then swap a 4g63 in like stated above this one has been done numerous times. ive seen 3-4 with this swap. those motors are almost like a honda doch motor. (shape wise and how the intake manifold is and exhaust manifold.)

I've already seen it done as of a couple years ago.
For the trouble and cost, why bother, honda's are really easy to swap already, thats why they are so popular.
People who do swaps like your asking about, are usually ones that weird cars, that don't have a lot of options.
