Default Window Trouble

Ive had my window come off track 3 times on me now in the past two and a half months. Only the drivers side. Its not somebody trying to break in because I live on base and I always park up front. They are power windows. I'm so frustrated on why its doing this. Is there any adjustment I can do to prevent this, or is this a common thing? Thank you-

my 96 hatch does it too, but i got roll up windoes but i figured it out on mine you have to roll up and down real slow beacuse that part that holds the window in place is bad so ived had to take the door panle off and put it back on but usealy i just leave them that one up (passander side) but im tired of fooling with it im gunna going to take it to honda and see whats up

its in the run channel. common problem with the 96-00 civics.

Ive thought it was the regulator on mine. that wasnt it. For a temp fix u can get some silicone lub and spray it in the wondow channel. that has worked on mine for the past year. only sprayed it 2wice.

Yeah, it's not the regulator (although it may have gone bad because of all the excess friction), it's the channel. Lube it or buy a new channel. Same thing happened to my 96 Accord.

i've had to fix a few of these.. best thing to do is pull the door panel and make sure all the bolts are tight first. then make sure the metal channel the rubber window runs sit in are not bowed anywhere. and like the guy said lube it, although i like to use something closer to grease and not so much silicone lube. but whatever you have... good luck wrenching
