Default s2k cluster?

hi i was wondering if you could could install a s2000 cluster onto a civic with a b series. all the cars i know that have s2000 cluster swaps have been k series. thanks

Yeah, I've seen some done with the b series motors, but I don't think anyone could get the speedometer to work.

ive been told that the vss speed sensor is diffrent, thats why i wanted to ask. the search came up with mainly k swaped cars.

I know, get a k20a2 swap it in and then do the s2k cluster. Hahaha, i have seen it done before as well! I have yet to see it done on a b series, good luck with that though man. I will do some online serch as well and see what i can come up with.

Some guy made a conversion box or something like that so it works with the civic/integra speed sensors. Don't ask me for a link, cause I don't have it. I know there was a thread about it a few months back (last summer maybe), so you could do a search and see if it turns up.

Just FYI it's by no means a cheap conversion.

You can piece together a turbo kit on stock internals for about the same price as the conversion cluster setup will cost you .

yea so far price looks to be 500ish, 200-300 for cluster, 170 for vss adaptor, and 75 for ect temp guage.

Oh wow, it went down a lot from awhile back when this was a new thing.

Hrm.

They sell digital VSS's that'll work in ur B series transmission, or you're talking about an analog to digital converter unit?
