4WD Wagon Suspension
My friend is looking to replace the suspension on his 88 4wd wagon, and we don't know if the rear strut set up is different from that of a 2wd one, should any suspension that fits a typical ef also fit the 4wd wagon?

I would think its different ..i have a crx and a wagon .. the wagon is 2600 lbs compared to 2100 to my crx , you would think it'd need to be stiffer for the wagon since its heavier ..but again i'm not sure just guessing.

the upper and lower controls arms are the same, depending on the year. the spring heights and rates are different though. Get adjustable coilovers and crx or hatch shocks. Thats what I did to my brothers. That way you can get the height right. Don't even try to put stock rear discs on it unless your good at metal fab either. that **** sucked bad. I spent 12 hours cutting and bracing and getting it to fit his 2WD. The front is the same as any other civic. I need to put his car up for sale actually.

pm me your info if you haven't resolved this & I'll reset it.
Its easier to use civic/crx rear struts. Is it correct? Probably not but I'm usin them w/o probs.
sorry, only pics I could find right now
