I tried to get answers in another forum but it didnt work at all. my cars stuck in the ghetto overnight

The car was jumping around like it didnt want to even go anywhere, it wouldnt let me accelerate past 3800rpm and it idled at about 500rpm. it has to be an ignition problem. but what should I look for?
I'm almost broke, I got about 20 bucks and no gas money. I need to get it out of there before it gets stolen.
what cheap things should I do to try to get it running?

Timing belt jumped a tooth?

Sounds to me like you should call up some friends, borrow some cash and get the car towed home, I doubt this is a roadside repair.

 

Did you check to see if the rotor fell off?
This happened to me...left me stranded...come to find out is that all I needed to do was screw the rotor back on.

 

thanks I'l check that. before you got stranded, did ur car jump around on the road like you popped the clutch, or did it have somewhat of a rev limit at like 3-4Krpm?
