Default throttle booty =p

a friend of mine gave me an EX trottle body and i was wondering if i should change it out my HX for it..would it do anithing performance wise?

do you know the mm of the hx? i know the ex throttle body is 56mm. if its smaller than that yes you will get more hp and throttle responce. make sure you port match the throttle body to the intake manifold. what motor do you have?

right now i have a hx motor.. i've heard the ex throttle body is 2mm bigger..how would i port match?

portmatch just means you match the intake minfold with the throttle body. take a dremel with a side grinding stone (not sand paper) and slowly grind away at it untill the port on the intake manifold is the same size as the throttle body. thats it then just bolt it up. make sure every things going to switch over though, tps an map

o0o makes sense.whats a good way to do it to not get shavings inside?

i think d-series throttle bodies are 56mm and b-series are 60mm

Great title!

I don't think you will feel anything with the bigger TB other than the faster throttle ramping effect.

stuff a bunch of paper towls in it, then after that pull them out and wash it out with hot water and soap if you want to. just make sure you get all soap film out of it. let it completly dry berfore you put it back on
