Default noob question need help

can a cold air intake be used on an automaic trans friend told be that it could be used. justed wanted to know because im going to buy one but don't want to if you can't use them on a auto trans. thanks for the help.

yes they make CAI for auto too.

I'm not sure if this is true for auto's but a type S CAI wont fit on a base b/c when you shift gears, something in the engine bay hits the CAI. But you shouldnt have that problem with a Auto I guess. Just letting you know so you dont get screwed
