Default what i did to my EF today

since the what did you to to your ef thread got pwned i thought id put this up.

got a set of steelies the other day so i could take my 14's off and repaint them silver again. previous owners brother rattle canned them on the car and must have been related to stevey wonder. runs and lumps and **** everywhere. anyway.. over the last couple days ive stripped them down and sanded them and today i painted them silver again. its not perfect but its a million times better than before... go me.

wonder how long it will take the paint fumes to vacate the house lol

im also battling with a squeaky alternator belt. it was recently replaced but i dont have a wrench to fit it and a socket wont fit because there isnt enough space so it was ghetto-ed with vice grips. prob try to borrow one off one of the local shops lol

they were painted black.. and had huge runs and bubbles in the original paint etc.. that he just sprayed over. no sanding or anything. they were so fucked up they still arent perfect lol

reason why i went through the hassle is they are the standard alloy wheels and in 17 years they havent met a kerb once.. when i can afford not to be a cheapass and get them done properly i was thinking of getting them polished or even spun on a lathe and polished or something.. dunno yet maybe just professionally repainted or maybe go for different wheels.

ooh i forgot to add.. i got arrested in it on saturday night lmao

ticket for "defective exhaust" arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit. i was way under the legal limit and hadnt touched anything. they arrested me thinking i was drunk and on something, said my eyes looked funny. im sure yours would too at night.. lol

had to let me go like 3 hours later with only the noisy exhaust ticket. new thing in is that if its louder than stock its "illegal" tho they pass inspection and are fine for road use. basically an excuse for the government to take yet more money from you.

cops here are really a joke.. they do what they want when they want and to who they want and they cant drive for **** haha

We have the same problem here in Holland: if an exhaust is louder only 3DB or more than they have the right to get your car-papers and you have to get a technical inspection (expensive!!) at a special cop-place

Cops = gay.
