Hello,

I recently bought a 91 Crx Si Front Bumper and tried installing it on my 88 CRX HF (Has all 88 HF front end parts). The bumper does not fit correctly, it sort of sticks out to much and doesn't align properly.

Has anyone encountered this problem before/also?

I dont know. should fit fine. Done that a few times already with no issues.

 

the corners on the top my not push in far enought, you may need to take some of plastic off but be your not to mess up the paint....

 

Umm... I may be wrong but with the 88-89 and the 90-91 conversions, don't you have to also change the bumper supports and the turn signals to match the bumper year(s).

In your case, you need should need to swap out the support for a 90-91 and of course the corresponding turn signals to fit inside the bumper holes.

I got a 90/91 si bumper on my 89 si hatch, with a 88/89 bumper support of course, "the metal bar" and it is slightly off balance but i still got it to work, eh.
