I took my car off the road for the winter, I start it at least once a week, just started it before let it get up to temp. i turned it off, the upper hose is hot but the lower on is cold. the car didnt over heat, what could be the problem.

 

bad thermostat, antifreeze could be low, did you ever burp the hoses?

 

yea i bleed the system a while back when i put the new radiator in.

 

the thermostat never opened.
