pedal on the floor
sorry for the long description but thanks for reading:
The car had been dragging a pad on the passenger's side so as I went to replace the mashed in retainer clips from the previous mechanics brake job I decided to replace the hardware all around (new springs in the rear as i have drums) and clean off rust, etc...
-drivers side went fine
-here's where I got retarded: I forgot the pass caliper was hanging by the line and hopped in to check for pedal feel..
-i got the piston to press far enough back in to do the passenger side after the pressure in the system dropped a bit and replaced the retainers/pads there
-finally did the drums in back and adjusted them so they feel tighter than they did before (checked by change in tension on parking brake)
-the pedal was really low as soon as i took it out to test it so I bled the fronts and went through a bottle of fluid but didnt notice any bubbles and it didnt help any
-no leaks anywhere and fluid level is staying the same
but now the pedal is nearly on the floor and i have to pump it to get the pedal anywhere near the same height as before... I just limped it home and its sitting outside...
anything is help,
Thanks
