well, i have a big thread in EF section, but thought i'd post a more updated/smaller/all the relavant pics thread here, where it fits well. its very different, and should be a lot of fun. used to have a 300+ whp d16a6 (stock head, ran low 12's with traction issues).. some pics found out a failed injector (clogged a bit with some residue, now i'm going to drop the tank/run new fuel line, etc) caused the D to blow. it was flowing 30-40% less than the others..and i was pushing the engine on pump gas to begin with. luckily i had it tuned rich/conservatively.

now, some carnage photos!

MilkShake anyone???

MilkShake valve cover..

Poor Mister Sleeve.

Poor Mister Piston

new/old rare DRAG wheels..havent found any other sets
cage mod pic, raised it up, painted it...its not padded too.

pic of the nice 80K f22a1 i bought for cheap.. its SO clean underneath it freaks me out. gonna rip it apart, clean the head more, new valve seals, deck it, new HG, ARP head studs (already have all that stuff) and putting some BISImoto valve springs in it. its also getting a custom WEBcam designed by bisimoto for me. obviously using the bisimoto adaptor kit.

some pics of the partial progress of the mount..its really strong, and i boxed everything, should be great... using the Kaizenspeed balance shaft eliminator kit, so i'll have a bit more clearance, but i notched it out a bunch so its easy to work on, etc. the welds will be seam-sealer'd over, and all painted. should be fun.

Intake manifold runners welded up...minor porting/polishing was required inside, nothing terrible..next is making a plate for them, using my brothers CNC machine.. it will have velocity stacks incorporated in it, etc..lots of machine work.
also shows the 90 mm q45 throttle body (modified, cut off all the useless nissan stuff i'm not using)... the nissan TPS works with honda's too..kinda neat

thanks for the inspiration hybridkoop

plates for splitimes and my plenum/velocity stack manifold parts just came in.. they are huge. gonna be a LOT machining going on w/ the cnc machine

i'm kinda proud of my front mount i built/modded traction bar. the welds arent super pretty, but its all hidden with the rad hose/fan/downpipe/wastegate anyways.. it turned out fairly well. should be UBER strong...and it adds quite a bit of stiffness to the whole setup

web cam came ..thanks bisi...hope it works well. its a custom turbo grind he had done...says it should idle well, and make great power. i guess thats the idea!

waiting for 2 more things...the freaking crank pulley, and the freaking exhaust flange..

compared to a stock SI, untouched. you can see how much i've moved the frame. spent quite a while figuring out where to start, what needs strength, and how to make it strong. its burly

you'll see more from us together

I dont know what you guys are planning on doing for fuel/tuning. But Adam and I are going to be putting his bone stock LS on the dyno with E85 and are going to try and break 340 (current record) with it next week. If if all works out we would be happy to do the same on the grassroots car.

we're using DSM 450s... and pushing them as far as they go...only real cheap injector option for us. only 2007 bucks to spend.
we're street tuning on chrome...maybe borrowing a G meter..if it helps (probably wont help)
i'd love to have your input on the tuning though..its gonna be a bigger turbo, but should spool well, and have a great lil' poweband.
BTW..the new program for the CNC machine came today..hopefully my brother hooks it up ASAP..and we can make some manifolds.. WOOT

Well the 450's pretty much throw the E85 right out the window.
What turbo are you running on it, it should be a good lil motor with lots of torque.
I would be more then happy to help with the tune for you guys.

thats the Banks turbo for our 99 superduty diesel..haha</TD></TR></TABLE>
Haha yeah I figured that, but i wasnt sure if the t3/t4 was going in like that.
I really hope in the future (maybe this summer even) to make a manifold that will mount my Sc60 (and Gt35 when I get it) up front like that with him. His Fab skills are absolutely amazing.
