Default Civic EG interior bump on floor on driver side

Does everyone else have this slight floor bump on the driver side near the gas/trunk release levers?

It's like uneven on the drivers side floor.

I want to know if this is normal. I know that on RX8 the bump on the passenger side is normal to make room for the transmission. But what the hell is under the driver floor area to cause this slight bump.

umm..

wouldn't that be a bad thing if someone jacked up the car at the wrong spot and bent the floor like that?

bad thing meaning weak chassis

i just looked under the car, it was jacked up wrong..

How can I fix this? It's very annoying..

Can I just take a malet and pound the living crap out of the floor to even it out?

use a rubber mallet but remove the carpet from the area first and check to see if theres any splitting of the metal first
