Default Falken FK-452?

Any better tires for a similar price? I was thinking RT-615s, but then I realized how quickly they'd wear out. So...anything else? This is for OEM AP2 17s, I hated the RE050s.

I'm interested as to why you hated the RE050's.

They gripped terribly. I've driven an AP1 on S02s, much, much better grip. The only good things I can say is that they're decent in the rain (and snow ), and they give you plenty of warning when they're losing traction.

RE050's were about control and progressiveness. Overall grip wasn't that great, and they wore like ****. Couldn't even get 10k miles out of them.

so Projekt, since I consider you the resident genius, what do you think I should go with, as far as grippy tires that don't wear insanely fast? I was thinking RT-615s, but they wear just as fast as the RE050s.

Without spending much money like you want? You're kinda limited bro. Santos would like this one.

Federal 595SS are soft, and wears decently.
Hankook RS-2s wear well, but takes longer to warm up.
BFG KDs grip decent, wear decently, but are squishy and less responsive.

I thought about SS595s, but they're hard as hell to find. I thought the Hankook RS2s wore about the same as the RT-615s?

Neither wear very well. Difference is 2-3k miles. Found you some Federals. $69 per front, $84 per rear + shipping. They're in NJ.

The MX compound is snappy, and the burn like crazy when you smoke them. Chunks everywhere in the fenderwell.

They're garbage in the rain.

I'd get Toyo T1-R's. Really good tires!
