You gotta give people more then 10 mins to respond, and if you cant wait then you should just search and go through the how tos.

Use the y8 timing belt.

My understanding was to always use the head gasket and timing belt from the block you were using.
At least that is how it goes on the B-series. Not sure on d's.

I think it has to do with the teeth count on the belt.

friggen idiot, the y8 timing belt is hte same **** as the g7 because the same camshaft sprokcets and honda sucks

For B series LS/VTEC it goes off whatever water pump you use. For the 96-00 D series its all the same between engines, and for 92-95 i believe its water pump as well (not 100% sure but 85% sure)

Your y7 timing belt will work. Anything sohc with a d16 should work.
