So how screwed am i? (Comptech header quest)
I've been searching since I heard the news about comptech. I REALLY want their header but it seems to be nonexistant. If anyone knows where to get one, or someone who wants to sell theres, PLEASE point me in that direction.
Call comptech dealers
ask if they physically have stock.
If not... wait for a used one.
Personally I think the gains are so minimal... its really not worth even doing it to your car..

So very true, unless you have FI and still want a well built shorty. But honestly, I have a feeling that something will come out within the next year that is at least comprable.

Have you tried calling Comptech? They still answer the phone and there is still 2 people there (Nate and Gail). I am working with Nate right now to buy the high boost pulleys, extra belts, lightweight flywheel, pressure plate and disc.
This way when the time come, I will have the parts in the garage.
