Please help me: Rubber bushings still good???
I just got all (4) lower control arms powdercoated (400 degrees for 20 min), but I NEED TO KNOW if my rubber bushings are still good to ride on.
They look pretty good to me and are still really hard. I'd hate to have to press them all out and get all (10) NEW OEM bushings. I was told by some people they are still good and by others that I should replace them. I heard these bushings can take a beating, so I'm hoping it's quite true.
I NEED TO KNOW for sure before I undertake this very expensive and time consuming project.
Thanks in advance!!!

your bushings are shot, they shouldnt be hard they should have a bit of give to them. U shouldnt had the bushings on the control arms when they were baking the powdercoating on. Anyways just replace them with urethane, those can take a beating...they arent that expencive either. gl
