Default Apexi WS2 Louder then Greddy SP2??

Well i read a couple threads all them state that the Greddy Sp2 is louder then a Apexi WS2. So my question is why is my friends Apexi WS2 louder then my Greddy Sp2 ?Not that it bothers me but the noise is alittle too quiet for my taste compared to other cans I hear.We both have a 2.25 custom piping from the catback He has a single cam non vtec 1.5 and i got a single cam vtec 1.5 both engine have i/h/e . At no RPM or point is my Greddy Sp2 louder. So i'd like to ask why my exhaust is so quiet? Inside the car I can hear a just a tiny bit but in my friends hatch i hear way more. Outside the Apexi WS2 tone is louder then mines at WOT. So I'm not used to having my can this quiet. So what can I do to increase my exhaust noise level to what it should be? Because from what I've read a Apexi WS2 should be no where near as loud as a Sp2. My greddy Sp2 is off a Prelude if that even matters.

idk but before i had a catback, i had a universal ractive muffler on my em1. just aem cai and muffler no headers. the exhaust note was deeper and louder and more droney/muffled but when i installed my dc-sports 4-1 headers, the exhaust note got smoother and QUIETIER!!!!!! so it might have to do with headers????? im not sure, but now i have full catback:D

if you wanted a loud exhaust then you bought the wrong one.
Greddysp2 and the ws2 are some of the quietest cat backs you can get.

Want to make it louder? if you have a resonator remove it, or buy a cheaper muffler.

Apexi ws2 is a chamber muffler and Greddy sp2 is a straight through muffler.

yea i hear those ricy cars getting on the highway going 45 when u think they are going 120,516,510,320mph!!!!!

to the question up above u went yur tone to get louder?? why?? i thought that was the reason u got the sp2. dont want it give it to me. whta u can do is either replace the catylic c.with racing cat c. or just remove the resonator.

For all you people that think i want the ricey noise stick a 2.25 piping up ur *** FTW. I posted the THREAD SAYING.....that in almost every thread asking bout greddy sp2 or a ws2 everyone always says " the greddy sp2 is a little bit louder since its a straight through muffler" All im asking is why my exhaust doesnt correspond with everyones else sound level. (Because my friends Apexi WS2 is Louder). So after hearing a couple Sp2's mines out of all is the quietest. So I just wanted to know why this may be. NOT because I want it to sounds Loud as a N1 and sound like im at WOT wen im cruising. I JUST WANT MY EXHAUST A TAD LOUDER because my Sp2 DB is no where near my friends Apexi WS2,. WTF would I want a exhaust louder to just be able to tell my friend its louder then his......thats just dumb. SO ANYONE WHO HAS SOME POSITIVE INPUT please post what you may think that is causing my SP2 not to be at the same DB range as other SP2s. ALSO i have no resonators just stock cat and DC headers.

i cant believe its that quiet with no resonator, do u have a highflow cat? I think we both have a different perspective on noise because my stock exhaust with 2.25 pipe and gsr muffler is still loud to me
