Default First test runs K20 hatch

We went to the track today and managed to run 6 consecutive 12.6 passes , best et of the day was a 12.64@106 mph with a 1.75 60 ft. and the best mph were a couple of 107 mph traps. Here is a pic of one of our timeslips and a in car video of the car , let me know what you guys think.

We ran the car today on some 22x8x13 because that is what we had laying around. The car weighs 2,150 lbs.
We will be doing some more testing this Saturday to see what she does.

My friend run 22 on his K civic as well.... big difference when he switched to 24.5 slicks...

At 8000 RPM with 22 inch slicks you are at around 106.16 miles per hour

At 8000 RPM with 24.5 inch slicks, you are at 118.3 mph.. big difference on a 230+ whp car....

On your car it is questionable how faster you are going to be, but with the right cams you can probably go really close to 12 flat

Good luck

i was in the same spot as you, 22s with the 02-04 type s trans is optimal as long as you have the revs, i would say go with new valvetrain and the same slicks..

The track has been rescheduled for tomorrow so we will see what she does since she has "a little" more power now.
