sohc/dohc vtec solenoid?

sohc/dohc vtec solenoid?
Hey guys, I'm buying an h22 cylinder head to slap on my f23a1, but it is missing the vtec solenoid. Will the f23 solenoid work with the h22 head? Or are the dohc and sohc solenoids different?

I'm gonna have to say they're different, in terms of mounting. Looks like different part numbers as well. Bump for more info.

it should work although i have no experince doing the h22 head swap but did a b16a2 swap into a mini-me swaped EK, we just used the d16 solenoid... but not sure...

Call your Honda dealership and ask for the part numbers for the VTEC Solenoid for a 99 Prelude Type SH, and a 99 Accord LX 4cyl.
