Driver's side lock.
I don't know if it's all EF's. But on my sedan, I cannot lock the driver's door from the inside with the door open (as if I was getting out, leaving the car and locking it). I have to lock the door with the key EVERY time. Needless to say, it's very annoying. Is there a little clip or spring or anything I can remove from the door to make myself able to lock it by pushing the lock down instead of doing it with the key every single time? If anyone knows, thanks in advance. And no, I'm not wasting money on this car and putting in remote functions.
i dont know about the outside handle, but if you hold the inside handle open (like when you have to get out of your car) it will allow you push the lock down. On hondas it shouldnt pop back up but on old toyotas and some other cars it you didnt hold the outter handle it would unlock itself.
Or you could just pull the inside handle and push the lock in... yes all hondas are like that, even most newer ones with power door locks you still have to pull the handle to use the door lock button. I've locked my keys in my car before because of this also, you get into the habit of pulling the handle and locking without realizing you left your keys in the car.
EDIT: got beaten to it

Oh ok.. Good to know. I have a 84 Cutlass as my summer car, and I've never locked my keys in the car, I carry a spare in my wallet anyways. Thanks guys, I'll give it a try tomorrow.
Nobody knows a little trick of removing something inside the door though? I'm sure its a little plastic clip or something silly.
Chris
