Hey all I recently got into a little front end and I needed to replace my front bumper. I have a 97 4cyl accord lx, some people say that the 97 6cyl front bumper will not fit. Does anyone know if this is true or if the bumpers do in fact fit?

 

yes its true. the V6 front bumper will not fit on a 4 cyl. the reasons are the V6 engine is completely different than the 4 cyl accords. the V6 sides of the bumper cover is 2-3 inches longer than the 4cyl accords...so if you have a 4cyl accords you need to get a front bumper cover for the 4 cyl. although the 94-95 front bumper covers are interchange-able with the 96-97s.

 

You will need a 4cyl bumper, regardless of year 94-97
