LS Tranny on JDM ITR..
Im pretty sure I got ripped off now because after driving my friends ITR and noticing how the tranny is got me interested in mine. So I started paying closer attention and ended up be right. I searched and noticed that the LS gear ratio/mph are the same as what I have. So now Im wondering if there is a down fall to using the LS tranny. As in loosing power or something like that.

Not only that, if you paid the extra bit for an ITR tranny, you really got boned. LS transmissions are relatively cheap.

I wouldn't even bother with a GS-R transmission. It still has taller gears than the ITR's, and USDM versions don't have an LSD.
I'd say either get an ITR transmission, or stuff some B17A gears (shorter 1st than ITR) and a Quaife in the LS case.
