Default car wont start...help please...10 dollar of free money to who solve it first..

well my friend just bought a 04 RSXtype s..and it was running fine but today it wouldnt start..it would make a chu chu chu chu noise at first the we try a few more time the it start doing chu chu chu chu and slowly dying and then click click click ..then do it again it just go click click click..then we took off his battery and swap out his with my and it start doing chu chu chu chu again but alit faster then before..but still wont start.. what could be the problem.. thanks for reading

its definatly the battery.
you both have bad batteries.

my battery is pretty new...it work for my car but not his..

10 dollar free to who solve the problem first...

this how he told how it went..
he went outside to repark it ..so it started fine and he parked it in the garage then for like 2 hour he came back and started the car..it started and it idle for awhile and it slowly turned off and then it wouldnt start again..read top post for more info afterward

i would think its the alternator

if you keep trying to start it, it just drains the battery

Try to get the car started and place a volt meter across the terminals with the engine at 2k rpm, it should read 13.5-14v. If not, then the alternator or wiring is bad. Check your connections to the alternator and battery first.
