1994 Rear Hatch Popper, On a 1999 Integra GSR
I have a 99 GSR and of course the Solenoid is giving me hell, I read that the 1994 integra have a Hatch release setup where the fuel door release is at.
Is it possible to install this along with a cable or is there more to it?
has anyone done this or thought of doing it>
Thanks

He has a legitimate point. If the electronic mechanism is giving you trouble, you can use the key to open the hatch.
To answer your question though, I'm sure you could do the conversion, though it would most likely be more trouble than repairing the solenoid.

How was that ignorance? Nobody is going to be able to tell you exactly what to do because nobody would go through all that pointless work when all you need to do is replace the solenoid or use your key.

Especially when the solenoid takes like 20minutes to install.

I understand this, my point is If Im driving in my car and I want to POP my Hatch so my friends can put stuff in the back, I dont want to have to get my Key out and open it, or even with the solenoid replaced, I dont want people to have to fumble with the latch when I could just pull a lever, and POP it.
I guess you could say i have trunk envy.
Thanks for you input I will continue my endeavour
