whats that one thing called?? HELP

whats that one thing called that looks like a pcv valve, it connects to the black box near the oil cooler?

are you sure its a pcv valve, i know there is one that is connected to the intake manifold but not the black box..

You mean the breather chamber? That's the black box you are refering to. The breather chamber connects directly to the block then has a vacuum line running up to the PCV valve.

wow, thats weird. I just looked at that thing when I was checkin out my fuel filter and I wondered what it was too. Thanks. Does that thing need to be serviced?
