will bending back the stucture beam on the car cause alignment or safety problems in the future?
My 01 LS has been deemed totaled and my dad is getting it fixed at the body shop. The dealership charges too much to replace the structure beam so my dad is going to a cheaper shop who will use a machine to bend the beam back. The car was t boned in the front fender area at 5 mph. The fender, hood, bumper were damaged along with structure damage to the chassis.
Will this cause alignment problems or safety problems in the future?

any type of bending of this type of component will jeopardize the structural integrity of the metal....meaning it will weaken the **** out of it
think of bending anything metallic...after so many bends it snaps....
i would be a little sketch about it in the future, but that's just me wanting to know that i'm safe instead of chancing it
