Default 5th gen with Koni Yellow/GC setup

Who out there has this setup for their 5th gen Prelude SH's? I am looking for someone that has successfully installed this package because I cannot get GC to find anything specific for this model. Does anyone know if they even have anything for the SH?

I don't want suspension just to have suspension or a dropped car. I want this to be functional as well as streetable.

If there is no koni/GC setup then what else is there out there that is just as good if not better for DD and weekend auto-X?

I have an SH with this setup.

The SH uses the same springs and shocks that are available for the base.

Koni/GC is the best setup for DD, auto-x, and track. Its my best choice ever.

Do you know what the part numbers were? GC doesn't seem to know what the hell they are talking about.

What spring rates did you end up going with? I'm thinking of getting 400 in the front and 450 in the rear.

There is only 1 model of each for the Prelude. The part numbers don't matter. I bought my Yellows/GC's used off of a kid with a base.

So all I need to do is order the package for the base model? I don't understand why GC doesn't know this....

maybe because the SH shock / spring oem combo is slightly different than the base/4th gen.

if you use base shocks + springs then you can put that on your car.

so yes, you can buy GC+konis.

Well I ordered the entire kit from GC. GC sorta knew all along what I needed but when they told me that they didn't sell a kit for the 97 SH's then it threw me for a loop so thanks for all your help guys

It's the 92- kit (4540) with 400/450 spring rates. Now all I have to do is wait until the roads are dry
