b16 for $1800 need input !?!?!?!?
hey i have a 97 ex coupe and my buddy is selling a 92-95 obd1 hydro clutch b16 for 1800 with everything trans ecu etc. My question is, is that a good price it has less then 50000 miles on it??? and how much money am i looking at for the other stuff to get it in i know i need the harness for obd2 to obd1 but how about mounts axels linkage etc thanks !?!?!?!?!?
you only need the driver side mount, axles aren't too bad, about $70 each for remanufactured ones. Does this include the shift linkage at 1800? Regardless its a good deal, not a lot of those motors out there with such few miles
I believe that if you want to keep it legal, you would want to keep the motor the same year or newer than your car. Anyone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I have been researching motor swaps because I am about to do one myself. Wallace

so all i need is the jumper harness and a driver side si mount and use the motors axels and linkage??? just making sure thanks for the input guys
Yep, thats about it. I would probabaly go abead and replace the timing belt, tensioner and water pump while you have it out of the car. Also, ask him the condition of the clutch too, All of this is good preventative maintenance and much easier to do while motor is out of car.
